QUEENSWAY area guide

Aston’s London is a leading estate agent in the Queensway area with a range of properties to buy and to let.

A blend of communities

Long the commercial hub for much of the W2, Queensway is where the area’s many cultures and communities share their traditions and lifestyles. Many world cuisines are authentically represented on the thoroughfare, with international gourmets ensuring they visit the long-established restaurants, particularly for Chinese, Middle Eastern or Mediterranean dining experiences.

Change is afoot

Queensway is set for some of the most exciting regeneration projects in London, with plans to redevelop the landmark Whitley’s shopping centre underway to provide a mix of apartments and town houses, with new local amenities including a boutique hotel, cinema and restaurants. These plans also include the pedestrianisation of Queensway itself to provide a relaxed and social environment to eat, shop and work.

Choose a property to suit you

Serving as the border between Bayswater and Notting Hill, Queensway’s surrounding residential properties include imposing mansion blocks of apartments, charming mews houses and green, tree-lined avenues and garden squares. The area has seen significant uplift since the launch of ‘The Lancasters’ apartment development opposite Hyde Park in 2010.

Shopping, strolling and socialising

High quality retailers, such as Waitrose and Heal’s, have already seen the attraction of opening stores in the area to serve the local community. The 350 acres of Hyde Park, which is found just over the Bayswater Road, is where a gentle stroll can take you to Mayfair, Notting Hill or Knightsbridge.
